Continuing Care

Routine dental care is important to prevent dental problems before they begin. We address each patient’s condition individually and assist in achieving and maintaining optimal dental health. Routine visits include a visual exam, x-rays, oral cancer screening, review of proper home care techniques, and a thorough periodontal evaluation. Every patient is different; depending on need, we will establish a time interval for periodic “continuing care.”
Restorative Dental Treatment
We offer a wide range of restorative options to create a beautiful, lasting smile.
Tooth Colored Fillings
Now you can have natural looking fillings that are actually bonded to your tooth and don’t cause the tooth fractures as found in many teeth with amalgam (silver) fillings.
All Porcelain Crowns and Bridges
Many patients are candidates for this type of treatment. Traditional porcelain crowns have a substructure made of metal. Over time, gingival tissue can recede, exposing an unsightly grayness or darkness at the gumline. All porcelain crowns and bridges contain no metal and are more translucent and natural looking.
Porcelain Veneers
Veneers can instantly improve a smile with gaps, chips, discoloration or slight alignment problems. A newer type of veneer requires little if any tooth preparation, which means no use of anesthetic!
Invisalign Braces
Invisalign is a way of straightening your teeth without traditional braces. It is a series of lightweight, clear plastic trays (aligners) to wear over your teeth that actually move them to an ideal position. So you can have “braces” without anyone having to know!
Zoom! In-Office Teeth Whitening
Zoom! is a one hour tooth whitening procedure. After lips and gum tissue are protected, tooth bleach is placed on your teeth and a special light activates the bleach, causing it to work faster. It is not for everyone, but it is great for patients who want an instant result.
One-Visit Root Canals
With digital x-rays and rotary endodontic equipment, most root canals can now be performed predictably in one appointment.
Partial and Full Dentures
We work closely with our laboratory to fabricate the most natural looking and comfortable dentures and partials possible. We offer both traditional partials and a flexible type of partial that contains no metal.
Pediatric Dental Care
Children are very special to us. Being mothers, we understand the needs of children and enjoy introducing them to the world of dental health. We suggest that children begin dental visits between the ages of 2 and 3 unless you have any concerns. It is helpful for a child to watch a parent having their teeth cleaned prior to their first visit. After a level of comfort is established, the child will usually be ready for a “happy visit” immediately following the parent’s visit. Our primary goal with children is to create a positive attitude about dental care.
